I remember when we were kids, we used to have a family holiday each year in a caravan and my sister and I were allowed to take our best friend with us. Playing cards was always our favourite evening pastime. Then there were the days on the beach where the sun always shone and sparkled on the water. I remember the shrieks as the cold water crept up our legs and the shouts as we finally too the plunge. There was sand in the sandwiches and in our shoes and salt in our matted hair and on our lips as we toiled back to the caravan for tea. Were we tired? Yes, but not too tired to demand something else to do after tea. Not to be outdone, mother produced a pack of cards greasy with years of use and chewed and curled at the corners.

With the advance of technology, kids no longer need the greasy pack of cards because there are so many games to play online. Well I thought Id learned a lot of games over the years, but was quite amazed by the number of them that are now available for free online.
